I thoroughly enjoy combining management, finance, marketing and artistic content to realize ambitious ideas, and to bring with the resulting products both awe and enjoyment as well as thought and debate to audiences.

Jerry Remkes

In 2012, I relocated from Amsterdam to Melbourne, where from 2012-2018 I was employed as Performing Arts Programmer at Arts Centre Melbourne. From July 2018, I stepped into the role of Executive Producer of the Australian Art Orchestra, one of Australia’s leading contemporary music ensembles. I also contribute to the Australian arts sector as a member of the Dance Panel of the Green Room Awards and as a peer assessor for both Creative Victoria and the Australia Council for the Arts. Lastly, I'm Executive Producer of Countertechnique, a movement system taught by 28 teachers worldwide.

Before coming to Australia, I’ve had an exciting career in the Netherlands, amongst others as the Executive Producer of dance company anoukvandijk dc, as Manager International Projects at the Theatre Institute of the Netherlands and as Co-Curator of the annual Dutch Dance Festival.
